SJSU iSchool Exhibiting at the 2018 New Librarian Summit
Thursday, 8:00AM Pacific Daylight Time
Location: San Jose State University | Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library | San Jose, CA
The SJSU School of Information is proud to sponsor the 2nd annual New Librarian Summit, being held at the MLK Library on the San José State University campus August 2 and 3, 2018. This conference is designed for MLIS graduate students, librarians who have graduated within the past 10 years, as well as those who have accepted new roles/appointments or experienced career transitions in the past 10 years. Sessions are aimed to inspire and guide early career librarians and will cover a host of topics relevant to academic librarianship, public librarianhip, and career development. There will also be plenty of opportunity for networking.
We encourage all iSchool students and recent graduates to visit our table during the conference. Stop by and chat with us. Pick up some iSchool swag, too!
