San José State University School of Information instructor Dr. Lili Luo has been promoted from associate professor to full professor. Luo said she feels “blessed” to be able to teach at the iSchool because the students are “wonderful.”

The San José State University School of Information’s Student Research Journal announces a new editor-in-chief has been appointed for the 2018-2019 academic year. MLIS student Megan Price is the journal’s eighth editor-in-chief.

Dr. Shelly Buchanan, a lecturer at the SJSU School of Information, is the 11th graduate of the San José Gateway PhD program. Buchanan studied student-driven inquiry educational experiences, and her research introduces a different approach to teaching.
