She directed National Archives and Records Administration's Corporate Records Management Program for 5 years, sat on NARA's electronic records policy staff for 7 years, and was awarded the AIIM Distinguished Service Award for her contributions to the PDF/A Standard. Susan led the Capstone email management implementation at NARA. She is currently the ECM System Manager at Pitkin County (Aspen) Colorado, pursuing transparent information management.
