The Community Virtual Library (CVL) has been a main hub for librarians in virtual worlds for a decade striving to embed information literacy (or metaliteracy) in immersive learning environments, including digital citizenship. Currently, CVL is branching out to other worlds, such as Inworldz and Kitely, as part of Metaverse Libraries, a combined effort among educators and information professionals to connect high quality education-oriented virtual communities as resources.
