Course Overview

The purpose of this course is to increase student awareness of some of the challenges and opportunities they may experience as library service communities become more globalized and diverse. It will also help them develop problem solving skills and find solutions or best practices for addressing these concerns.

Major concepts of cultural values, identity, language, ability, and information seeking behaviors are explored. Includes theory, research, and praxis.
