Course Overview
LIBR282-06/16 will be a newly developed course with a focus on advocacy. We'll be looking at the latest research on how the theories of influence and persuasion can help us become effective advocates for library services in all sectors. In addition, we'll look at how marketing, promotion, lobbying, and advocacy intersect, and what effect each of these has on library decision makers and stakeholders.
