Assignments
Assignments are all asynchronous and delivered in Blackboard.
Weekly assignments, will primarily be based upon the chapter and related readings. Assignments will include short answer responses to short answer and essay questions, discussion board asynchronous activities, and Web-based assignments.

The Web-based assignments are designed to facilitate participants understanding of using the Web as a resource to enhance knowledge of marketing concepts, and relevant marketing information.

The purpose of all assignments is to facilitate comprehension of the marketing concepts developed each week. The chapter and other readings (which can be accessed through the Course Library) must be read and reviewed first and referred to, before answering the assignment questions.

Team Operations
Your team will be ‘self-selected’ by your preference (at this point in your education!) for type of library or nonprofit agency (at least this semester!) A discussion board is set up for your selection of public; special; college/university; school media center; or nonprofit. You will place your name on one of these boards before Saturday, September 8. Your assignments will be team-based beginning with assignment 4 (due September 23.) If you prefer to work individually you must let me know by Saturday, September 8 via email. ALL discussion board posts are INDIVIDUAL.

Course Calendar
A course calendar will be posted under the syllabus section in Blackboard. All essay assignments will usually be due Sunday at midnight of any week, and discussion board posts Friday and Saturday. Instructor reserves the right to change assignments in advance and with notice.
