ARMA International is recruiting applicants to serve on a workgroup for the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles®.

ARMA International developed the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles® to “foster general awareness of information governance standards and principles and to assist organizations in developing information management systems that comply with them.” The Principles serve as foundational theory base for MARA students completing the required information governance and information assurance courses and correlate directly with the maturity of an organization’s information governance program. As ARMA prepares to launch a workgroup for its newest ANSI-registered technical report involving the principles, they have submitted a request for applicants. MARA students who are interested in participating in the professional conversation on standards development may consider applying to serve on the working group.
