Katia G. Karadjova

Katia KaradjovaKatia G. Karadjova is interested in the perception and understanding of information literacy in different parts of the world especially among academic librarians. Her work experiences have included positions with Information Literacy Programs at Humboldt State University (HSU), California State University at San Marcos (CSUSM) and California State University at Long Beach (CSULB). Katia graduated with a MLIS from San Jose State University (SJSU) in 2011. She has an educational and work background in Physics and Documentary Filmmaking and currently holds a tenure-track position as the Natural Resources & Sciences Librarian at HSU.

In her free time she enjoys poetry and fiction writing, painting, and outdoors activities. She has two published books in Bulgarian – a book of poetry and a book of collected and translated Gypsy fairy tales.
