I would like to just take a moment to say thank you to all of you that participates in the orientations that were held over the last 2 weeks. They were a success. I would like to remind everyone that, even though the schedules orientations are over for the Fall semester, we can still do one-on-one orientations that fit around our busy schedules. All you need to do is contact Kevin Dompier at kevin.dompier@gmail.com to set up the orientation in Second Life.

What is going on this week in VCARA

This week in VCARA, we are having a Virtual Worlds Presentations, part of the SLIS Colloquia Series. Our presenter in Ran Hinrichs of the University of Washington iSchool. The presentation starts at 6pm SLT (pacific) TOMORROW, September 24, 2013 and the topic of discussion is on ‘Immersive Information Environments’ in the VCARA Presentation Forum and Amphitheater.
