San José State University School of Information and Gwinnett County Public Library are co-sponsoring the Innovative Librarians Award to recognize library science graduate students who put forward new ideas that improve libraries and library services.

A greater number of students enrolled in the MLIS or MARA program at the SJSU School of Information will receive scholarships in spring 2018 with the addition of 22 scholarships worth $1,422 each.

San José State University School of Information is hosting its third and final Library 2.017 web conference on the subject of “makerspaces” Oct. 11. The conference will be held entirely online from noon to 3 p.m. Pacific Time, and registration is free.
