ASCLA Selects Student Tiffany Mair as 2011 Emerging Leader
Tiffany Mair is the 2011 ALA Emerging Leader for the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA). In December 2010, Mair completed the SJSU SLIS program for her Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and her work as a student assistant in the Braille and Talking Book Library at the California State Library. Mair also served as LISSTEN Co-Newsletter Editor for The Call Number for two years.
She began her ALA Emerging Leader project in January 2011 at the ALA Midwinter Conference. She is eager to apply her passion for finding answers and providing enthusiastic service in her new adventures as a librarian.
