In her position as Social Media and UX Coordinator for the San José State University School of Information, Sonia Belasco strives to increase accessibility to information, resources, and community for iSchool students, faculty, staff and alumni.

She creates content and implements social media strategy on multiple platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, refines UX Design for the iSchool website, learning communities, and web app projects, and works closely with iSchool graduate student assistants on content development, user testing, and collecting data for social media marketing analytics. 

Belasco is a graduate of the SJSU iSchool MLIS program (‘22), and also holds a MSW in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College (‘14) and a MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts (‘09).
