The Virtual Center for Archives and Records Administration (VCARA) would like to extend a warm invitation to any fellow virtual world builders, VR explorers, and/or desktop gamer type information professionals (librarians, educators, researchers, and students) to our Second Life region for a dance party. Let’s celebrate the end of the semester and graduation together.

Come kick it with us old school style, and dance to 80s tunes in a beautiful virtual environment. Feel free to chat up a storm and maybe make some new friends, or embrace your anxsty inner Goth if you’re more the quiet loner type. Everyone is welcome!

Who: You, (and anybody you’d like to invite to join you), VCARA members, and any other virtual world colleagues who may drop by.

What: An 80’s music virtual world dance party to celebrate the end of the semester and graduation.

When: Thursday May 26th, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Pacific Time)

Where: FantaSea Dance Club, at VCARA’s iSchool Island in Second Life.

Why: Because it’s a fun and creative way to hangout with other people remotely!
