Professor Lori Bell

Preview of Summer 2015 Course

Lori Bell has done extensive work with libraries in the virtual world. She has written numerous successful grants for a variety of collaborative library technology projects and has planned a number of successful online conferences for librarians. She has also won awards for her work including the 2007 ALA/Information Today Library of the Future Award to Alliance Library System for libraries in Second life; ALA/SIRSI Library Leader in Technology Award in 2004; Library Journal Movers and Shakers in 2004.

Brian Kaihoi has been with Mayo Clinic for 35 years. As a member of the consulting staff, Brian has worked with Mayo Medical School and Mayo School of Continuing Medical Education on content development and delivery strategies. Currently, Brian is the Mayo Foundation Web Administrator – including overseeing Mayo Clinic’s Second Life presence – and working with all Mayo Clinic Web activities, and works with the Center for Innovation, which is finding ways to transform the way health care is experienced and delivered.
