Registration for fall 2014 at SJSU SLIS and MARA is just a few weeks away. I hope you will consider taking one of the following new courses. I guarantee they will be fun and informative. We need a minimum of 12 students for each course to run.
We are conducting a survey to better serve you! So, we were wondering if you attended any VCARA events this semester? Then, we want to hear from you and get some feedback. Please take this survey so that we can make VCARA even better for future students! We appreciate and thank you for your time.
The Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education Conference on April 9 was great!
Pat Franks gave a talk about VCARA in the lovely Roman amphitheater. This was followed by a tour to the Italian Village where Lori Bell spoke. Marie Vans gave a great presentation about buildings that students make for the Florence class. The students did an amazing job constructing their projects for their characters. Lastly, we ended up back at the museum to see what past students have made. The presenters were great and informative. Kudos to all!
Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
