The Los Gatos Library
Francisco Vargas is passionate about 3D printing and laser-cutting and has been working in public libraries for close to 20 years.
The Los Gatos Library was founded in 1989. The current library building opened in 2012 and has a MakerSpace/Technology Lab with several study rooms, a dedicated Children’s room, and a fireplace. We host programs for all ages and abilities and pride ourselves in a flexible no-fee structure. We hold over 100,000 physical items and about 1M electronic items. Our library staff records a podcast, does history research, and provides over 20 hours of meaningful tech tutoring, readers advisory, and programs each week.
