Seven Year Limit
Procedures for courses that exceed the seven year time limit
Graduate students must complete their degrees in seven years or classes will expire. This is part of Title V, California Code of Regulations.
- Course Repeat: enroll in and complete the course again.
- Transfer in a course (taken within seven years) from another accredited institution.
Note: The School of Information (iSchool) does not revalidate classes so revalidation of classes that exceed the seven year limit is not an option in the iSchool.
