What I am doing now.

Research in security printing, image processing, and document analytics.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

I use data mining technologies for discovery of keywords and document summarization in large-scale corpora. I use instructional design principals for developing afterschool STEM programs for the local school district, as part of a community outreach program supported by HP Inc. I have also won a grant for a local elementary school for technology needs in a program that encourages girls to consider STEM careers.
