What I am doing now.

I perform proactive and reactive research on prospects through various databases, websites, and newspapers and prepare donor biographies, profiles, and research projects for individuals, corporations, and foundations. In addition, I maintain and update donor records in fundraising databases.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

Online research skills to locate information, strategic analysis skills to help uncover why the uncovered information fits into specific needs, data management to help with the mass amount of information is out there and how to store it properly to assist with future research. Good data is something that is extremely important for quality research retrieval.
