What I am doing now.

Responsibilities at my current job include a variety of web support services centered around creating, maintaining, and updating websites and web applications.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

Two valuable skillset areas that I developed at SLIS: web technology and management. As a student I learned things like web development, programming, and database management at a basic level for the first time; doing web work now, I am constantly using those skills. I hadn’t realized it as a student, but I picked up a variety of useful techniques and ways of thinking from my management training at SLIS that have helped me to solve systematic problems, improve work patterns, and consult on projects.
