What I am doing now.

I am the metadata librarian at the University Library, University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon Canada.  We are a medical doctoral research university located in Western Canada.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

Prior to taking my MLIS, I had over two decades of experience working in libraries.  I really appreciated that after I took the core courses I was able to design my program for myself so that I could fill gaps in my existing knowledge.  I think that the content within my courses which have helped me the most recently in my position are those related to new and emerging technologies.
