What I am doing now.

Motivated by my own experience as a first-generation college student, I’ve dedicated my career to expanding the reach of EdTech companies, leveraging tech to empower the learners — like me — who will benefit most from the advancement opportunities that higher ed creates. I’m currently the Vice President of Marketing at a high-growth EdTech company, and I’m working toward my doctorate in educational technology.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

Through my two internships, I gained firsthand experience in a college library setting, developing instructional materials to help empower students to responsibly use information, and I started to build out a professional network that has helped place me on the path to becoming a marketing executive. I would never be where I am without my hands-on experience through SJSU!
