World Kindness Day is celebrated on November 13 of each year and was first introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement (WKM), a global coalition of kindness organizations. The WKM was founded with the purpose of promoting kindness in communities, workplaces, and the world at large.

The main message of National Kindness Day is to promote acts of kindness and compassion toward others, emphasizing how small, thoughtful actions can have a profound and positive impact on individuals, communities, and the world. It encourages people to practice empathy, understanding, and respect, and to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.

The day serves as a reminder that kindness isn’t just about grand gestures but also about everyday actions, such as offering a helping hand, listening with care, or being patient with others. It highlights how kindness has the power to build stronger relationships, bridge divides, and create a sense of unity in a world that often feels divided.
