Having a sense of belonging empowers students to become professional librarians and empowers professional librarians to be active contributors to associations and the profession. In this breakout session, you’ll learn how Latine students were empowered in their LIS programs and what LIS educators can or should do to increase their sense of belonging. You’ll also learn about how REFORMA members develop sense of belonging and share that with others.
