Future SJSU School of Information MLIS student Lane Francis DuBois has been selected to receive the $3,000 Mary V. Gaver Scholarship from the American Library Association.

The scholarship supports students specializing in youth services. DuBois plans to focus on censorship, diverse collections, inclusive programming, and creating welcoming library environments for young people.

The award reflects the importance of preparing the next generation of library professionals to support young readers and communities through inclusive and responsive services.
