MARA and the iSchool are pleased to welcome Dr. Shadrack Katuu, independent archives and records management expert, who will present a lecture entitled “Boundaryless Global Careers for Archives and Records Management Professionals.” Dr. Katuu’s lecture, to be held on Tuesday, September 28, 11 am PT, will explore the expanding global nature of the archives and records management field.

Dr. Katuu has distinguished himself in the archives and records management field, serving as an information management officer for the United Nations, Head of the Records Unit at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, and an archives/records officer at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC. An international traveler who holds a Ph.D. from South Africa, a Master’s degree from Canada, and an undergraduate degree from Kenya, Dr. Katuu will share invaluable experiential knowledge that will open up our career aspirations to international exploration.
