Now in its fifth year, the Spring Seminar Mania Program began in 2021 as a virtual solution for Midwest ARMA chapters to connect during the pandemic. Since then, it has evolved into a successful and sustainable way for ARMA members nationwide to engage in educational sessions and networking opportunities. This year, 20 ARMA chapters are offering 20 sessions throughout April and May, with participants joining from across the U.S. Attendees can collect “virtual passport stamps” by attending sessions, increasing their chances to win prizes. The program offers expert-led learning, virtual city tours, and opportunities for national collaboration.

Extend your virtual vacation for another day by attending the Spring Seminar Mania’s finale event on Thursday, May 29, 2025 where we will play a records trivia game, network with one another, and announce the grand finale door prize winners.

April 15th – Andrew Ysasi - IG and Cybersecurity

Organizations face a myriad of security concerns; sometimes, understanding these concerns can be overwhelming. IG professionals must understand security issues that threaten their organizations and the information they are charged to protect. This presentation explores current threats and how an IG professional can help cybersecurity professionals safeguard data. IG professionals attending this session will learn theoretical and practical knowledge on protecting data from a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Records Manager (CRM), and instructor at San Jose State University MARA program.
