Overview of human interactions with cybersecurity technology. Topics: how people react to cybersecurity policies and tools, reasons for behavior, development, and evaluation of tools for assisting people in cybersecurity, human factors involved with social engineering attacks and phishing; ethical hacking.

This is a hybrid course, requiring an active, in-person and online presence (Importantly, this is different than the 100% online program for students in the other BSISDA program, the 2-year, SJSU Online transfer program, who only take this course fully online). (3 units)

Prerequisites: ISDA 20C and ISDA 20D (or equivalent)
