What I am doing now.

As the Evening Librarian, I perform and help out with a variety of different duties to keep the library running smoothly. From Inter-Library Loan, supervising & training Federal Work-Study students at the circulation desk, receiving print serials, shelving, shifting, shelf-reading, light reference, basic IT support, course reserves, fixing catalog records & Call Number tags and various side projects as assigned.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

The most valuable skills and knowledge gained from my time in the iSchool so far have been a base knowledge and understanding of cataloging, as well as reference and research skills.
