Peer mentors for INFO 203 are conducting optional sessions for new students in the first few weeks of the spring semester. Seats are limited, but the link to a recording will be posted here, as soon as it is available. (Generally 24-48 hours after event.)

Please see the details on this page to learn about each session, and then use the RSVP form linked below to register for a session. If you do not see one of the sessions listed in the RSVP form, it means the session is full and has been closed.

Juggling School, Work, and Life? Reduce Stress and Grow Your Brain with A Real Juggling Lesson! (Saturday January 22, 4pm PST)

Learning to juggle is better than the metaphor! Juggling has been proven to increase grey matter, ability to concentrate, and stick-to-it-ness. At the end of this webinar, you’ll have a new lifelong skill with more transferable qualities than you can imagine. Karen has taught juggling to all ages for more than 40 years. Preparing for the ePortfolio: Saving Yourself from Future Stress (Sunday January 23, 11am PST)

Congratulations on starting this journey to your master’s degree! Though you may just be starting now, it will benefit you greatly to start planning for your ePortfolio. In this meet-up we’ll go over the Student Success Planner, saving your coursework, the competencies planner, and some personal tips from Ashley, Anastasia, and Victor.

Doing More in Less Time: Tips for Managing Coursework (Thursday January 27, 5pm PST)

Many students are intimidated about time management and how to stay organized and on top of their coursework. Did you know that there are tips that actually let you do more in less time? Learn from our mistakes and get started on the right foot, right now!
