What I am doing now.

I am a research & instruction librarian and the subject librarian for the history program and social sciences department. My primary duty is assisting students and faculty within my programs in their research, which often takes the form of class wide instructional sessions, one on one meetings to discuss solutions to specific problems, and keeping abreast of relevant research, resources, and tools.

What are the most valuable skills I use in my job?

Communication, searching, teaching, and collaboration.
