Cozy Gamers with Emerging Technologies: This blog report showcases a visual exploration of how the cozy gaming community utilizes emerging technologies, such as social media. wikis, and mods, to fulfill their information needs as well as help others fulfill their own. I created a presentation using Canva and Prezi, combining my research with my own gameplay screenshots of Stardew Valley. The Prezi includes visual cues, such as the energy bar in the bottom right corner slowly decreasing as the slides progress, each slide background matches the in-game location shown on the Stardew Valley map, and the top tabs of my in-game window align with theme of each slide. Together, these small elements contribute to recreate the cozy ambiance of the game and create an immersive presentation experience. View the YouTube presentation.
