Interview with a Teacher Librarian: I chose to interview one of the current teacher librarians who serve a middle school and high school complex to get a better idea of the challenges and accomplishments the position brings. This essay summarizes my interview with a high school teacher librarian and my reflections on her experiences.

Laurel Rosa has been an educator for over 20 years from preschool through high school. She spent 5 years in an elementary school library and fell in love with learning commons. She is currently teaching 5th grade with a focus on science.
