Publishing Your Own OER (video): This talk was created as an means to introduce faculty members at a workshop to the reasons to publish their work as Open Educational Resources (OERs) and how to do go about publishing an OER textbook. The slideshow presentation addresses the benefits for faculty and students provided by OERs, Creative Commons licensing, databases that store OERs, and how to find more detailed information about publishing OERs.

Jennifer Corley

Jennifer Corley has been working in libraries for more than 20 years, starting with her first internship as a student librarian in eighth grade. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Central Oklahoma and anticipates graduating with an MLIS in Spring, 2021. Ms. Corley has also co-authored a freshman-level history textbook with T. H. Baughman, Modern World Civilization. Her current research interests include Open Educational Resources, online instructional design, and modern British history. In her spare time, Ms. Corley enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.
