Block: The Role of Maps in Children's and Young Adult Literature: For those of us who love the inclusion of maps into our favorite fantasy worlds, this project highlights many of the most famous maps used in children’s literature with an explanation of their role to enhance imagination and wonder.
Joelle Block: “As I quickly am approaching 50, my desire to obtain a MLIS degree has led me to SJSU. I am so grateful for the opportunity this program offers especially for those who have found their love of libraries later in life. I am looking forward to spending the later part of my career working with children and families as they discover all the wonderful services the library offers.”
