Laura Albrecht is an iSchool student living in Capitola, CA. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries and is working toward a career in public librarianship. Her interests include working with marginalized populations like incarcerated people, farm workers, and people experiencing homelessness. She is drawn to library work that inspires solutions to local and global problems and brings people together from different backgrounds.
