Deanna Lee is the Vice President for Communications and Marketing for The New York Public Library, responsible for promoting the Library and its mission, activities, and collections through publicity, marketing and social media, digital and print publications, multimedia content, and design.

Deanna came to NYPL from the Asia Society, where as Vice President of Communications she built upon experience in new media content creation and journalistic storytelling. During a 20-year career in broadcast news, Deanna served as a senior producer for ABC’s World News Tonight, documentary producer, and overseas producer for Nightline.

Deanna received her BA in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University. She is the recipient of eight Emmy Awards and one DuPont-Columbia Award.
