Elisabeth Thomas (MLIS 2007) is the Community Outreach Librarian at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. She also teaches an online course called “Library Science: Steps to Successful Research”, and is a Reference Librarian at Ohlone Community College. Elisabeth’s responsibilities at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library include the library’s involvement in Freshman Orientation and Transfer Day, organizing events such as SJSU’s University Scholar Series and the Annual Author Awards, and publicizing library resources through a variety of media such as newsletters and social media.
