Jeffra Diane Bussmann (MLIS 2008) is the STEM and Web Librarian for CSU East Bay in Hayward, California. She has a BS in Math from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and an MLIS from San José State University School of Information. Previously, Jeffra was the Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy Librarian at UC Irvine (2009-2012), and has the unique experience to be able to compare CSU and UC librarian work. Jeffra is currently organizing the STELLA—Science, Technology & Engineering Library Leaders in Action—unconference for 2014 at Stanford University. Her research interests include information literacy instruction in the physical sciences, online learning, usability studies, and website design.
