Kimberly Rufer-Bach is Owner, Designer, and Producer of The Magicians, a top solution provider for Second Life and OpenSimulator.  Since 2005 she has specialized in working with educators, nonprofits, and government agencies to bring their virtual worlds projects to fruition.  Kim is the author of The Second Life Grid: The Official Guide to Communication, Collaboration, and Community Engagement; and co-author of Creating Your World: The Official Guide to Advanced Content Creation for Second Life.  A member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, Kim was Community Forums Coordinator at There, Inc., garnered recommendations for the Bram Stoker Award for her fiction writing, was an online Special Event Moderator and Host for Writers Club/iUniverse (a partner of AOL), and worked on best-selling educational software from Fisher-Price way back in the 1980s.
