After working as an elementary school teacher and as a manager in the retail industry, Martha Parker was an ACE (Academic and Cultural Enrichment) scholar at UNC-Greensboro while pursuing her MLIS.  Martha is currently the Librarian-in-Residence at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville where she works with reference, cataloging and special collections. 

Martha is active with ALA and ACRL, REFORMA, and ArLA (Arkansas Library Association).
