How to Network and Work a Room
Faculty Presentation
One of the most meaningful ways you can market yourself is to
make and sustain personal contact with those that you meet. How
has networking worked for you? How do you start a conversation
with a stranger? In this session, we invite attendees to share
their success of making every connection matter. Attendees are
invited to discuss how they have approached networking, what has
worked/what has not worked, and how we can make sure that every
connection we meet, regardless of environment, matters. From this
session, let us go forth, connect with diverse groups and remind
those we meet just how valuable we are in this world. Here are
key questions that will be discussed:
1-What exactly is networking, and how do you network?
2-What does it mean to work a room?
3-How do we ensure the most out of our interactions?
