Join REFORMA SJSU and SAASC for an insightful look into preserving the history of Iowa Latinas. Janet Weaver from the University of Iowa Libraries, Iowa Women’s Archives, will talk to us about the Mujeres Latina Project and the ensuing digital humanities project Migration is Beautiful. By documenting and preserving the stories of Iowa Latinas, these projects are contributing to a new and more inclusive understanding of the past.

The presentation portion will be recorded but the Q&A session will not. The recording will be up on both the REFORMA and SAASC YouTube pages within a week after the event.
