Join Brenda Gunn, Associate University Librarian for Special
Collections and Preservation at University of Virginia Library
for her presentation Revolutions or Evolutions: Perspectives on
Progress in Archivy. Ms. Gunn is a certified archivist who
focuses on compassion and care in the archival workplace.
Currently, she is a co-PI on the Mellon Foundation-funded project
On These Grounds, which is creating a descriptive model to
represent the enslaved lives who labored to build colleges and
universities. Additionally, she is a partner on the Archival
Revolutions Project which explores the transformative practices,
theories, ideas of the last 40 years in archivy. Join this
