Emily is the Lead Archivist in Seattle, Washington, since 2022, providing archival services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Winthrop, she worked for King County Archives and Seattle Opera, where she founded the company’s first Archives program. Emily has held leadership roles with Northwest Archivists and the Zine Archive and Publishing Project. Her areas of specialty include family owned business archives, the intersection of archival practice with death and grief, and textiles.
