SAYV’s CLS session for the Black or African Diasporic community
Are you a student who identifies as Black or African Diasporic?
Are you looking to meet other students and build community in a
student-led, student-only safe space?
Students Amplifying Your Voices (SAYV) is a student-first
initiative that aims to uplift the voices of historically
marginalized communities in library, information, and data
science. A Community Learning Space (CLS) is a conversation by
and for students of underserved communities.
Join SAYV’s CLS session for the Black or African Diasporic
community Thursday May 15th 5:30pm PST
The discussion, led by a student moderator, is an opportunity to
speak about your experience at SJSU, what barriers or challenges
you have faced, and what advice or solutions you would like to
share with your colleagues. Students must identify as Black or
African Diasporic to join in the discussion. Please fill out this
form if you are interested in attending: https://forms.gle/m6Lb2twuNSbyhTSY7
