In this presentation, Dr. Sandra Hirsh will share her insights on the future of librarianship and what it means to be an information professional today. Drawing from her recent observations from writing the 3rd Edition of her textbook Information Services Today: An Introduction (published mid-March 2022), Hirsh will highlight some of the most significant trends that will impact the work of information professionals for years to come as well as the key competencies and skills that will help information professionals successfully serve their communities while also building successful and rewarding careers.
