When: Tuesday, December 08, 2015 | Time: 6:00pm PST – 6:50pm PST

For Seanchai Libraries, the Dickens Project has been part of a larger, long range vision of engaging people in literature in an active manner: promoting interpersonal interaction, the importance of stories, and celebrating the spoken word. Join Seanchai’s Caledonia Skytower as she shares the history of this project, why they chose the work of Charles Dickens as a pilot point, and where the concept is going.
Caledonia Skytower (Judith Cullen) is an artist and storyteller with over 25 years of experience as a theater designer, and non-profit administrator. Since 2008 she has worked as a volunteer presenting literature live in the virtual world of Second Life ©, logging in over 700 hours to benefit a variety of charities as part of Seanchai Library. She currently works as a narrator, artist, author, and as an organizational consultant to small non-profit organizations.
Individuals requiring real-time captioning or other accommodation should contact Dr. Sue Alman as soon as possible.
