On November 20th, VCARA will welcome a guest speaker to talk about efforts made by records management professionals to support the accessibility of electronic records. This particular presentation will be given by Jason Kaltenbacher, an Adjunct Instructor in SJSU SLIS. He teaches in both the MLIS program as well as the MARA program. Below is a peak into what Jason Kaltenbacher will talk about:

This VCARA event will discuss records management efforts to support the accessibility of electronic records. Records managers work to standardize and ensure confidence in our internal business accessibility needs and practices as well as e-discovery and the legal process. Mitigating liability and promoting risk management is an underlying theme to what records managers offer as information professionals.

Location: As with all of our events, this presentation will take place in VCARA at the VCARA Amphitheater. It will take place from 7-8 PM SLT (pacific).
